PFA vs SRL, 2026
An annual estimate. It is not advice and it does not replace the single tax return or an accountant.
Example
Real-system PFA, revenue 100,000 lei, expenses 20,000 lei: 53,865.00 lei left.
Micro-company, revenue 200,000 lei, expenses 80,000 lei, one employee, all profit as dividends: the owner receives 99,120.00 lei, before personal health contribution on dividends.
Rules used
- Annual caps use 4,050 lei, the minimum on 1 January 2026, not the 4,325 lei from 1 July.
- Pension at 25% starts at 12 minimum wages (48,600 lei). Between 12 and 24 wages the base is 48,600. From 24 wages up, the base is 97,200.
- Health is 10% of net income, not below 6 wages (24,300 lei) and not above 72 (291,600 lei). If the owner is also an employee, income under 6 wages is not lifted to that floor.
- On the income norm, the 10% tax applies to the norm, not to receipts. The norm used here does not go below 48,600 lei.
- Micro-company: 1% of revenue, a ceiling of 509,850 lei (100,000 euro × 5.0985), and at least one employee. Otherwise profit tax is 16%. Distributed dividends are taxed at 16%.
Personal health contribution on dividends is not included. It depends on the whole year’s income.
