How we use business contact details

This notice covers emails sent to businesses about a design concept. It is separate from the privacy page for people who write to the site.

What we use

We use business contact details taken from public websites and from Companies House. That can include a business name, a public email address, a phone number, an address, and what the business says it does.

Why

The purpose is one introductory email and one follow-up. The email may link to a concept page prepared for that business.

Lawful basis

The lawful basis is legitimate interests: telling a business, once, about a relevant design concept, with a simple way to opt out.

How long we keep it

We keep the contact details for 12 months, or until you opt out, whichever comes first.

How to opt out

Reply “no”, or email office@tidyrox.com. After that, the address goes on a suppression list and is not emailed again.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, or an objection to this use of your details. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. Because the controller is in Romania, you can also complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP.
